March 30th- Salamanca High School Warriors Varsity Lacrosse, 2005 Class C Champions, won their first game against Class A team Jamestown Raiders at Stryder Field in Jamestown. Final Score was 9-5. The game was called at the end of the 3rd quarter because it was too dark to continue. Sophomore Rudi George had 4 goals and 1 assist, Junior Brett Abrams had 1 goal, Freshman Josh Becker has 2 goals, Freshman Thomas Stevens had an assist, Sophomore Nick Chamas had 2 assists and Freshman Christian Reiller had 1 goal. Senior Goaltender Jeremiah Bova had 10 saves at net with 15 shots and only 5 goals scored.

Salamanca Junior Varisty debuted at home against the Jamestown Raiders and won 5-4. Sophomore Jacob Hager scored 2 goals, 8th grader Josh Harrison had 1 goal and 1 assist, 8th grader Zach Winship had 1 goal and Sophomore Brian Pezon had 1 goal. Coach David Isaac was very pleased with the effort given by his entire team in the very first game.
